On-site repairs
Most repairs will be completed within 30 minutes to one hour with a minimum repair cost (inclusive of initial call out) of £55 within 5 miles of Ripon centre, and £60 between 5 and 10 miles of Ripon centre (Please enquire for repairs beyond 10 miles from Ripon). We will always try our best to advise, during your initial enquiry, if there is a chance of a job being very time consuming.
Call Out
A one off charge per job of £45 including the 1st hour of labour or part thereof. If a subsequent visit is required there is no additional call out charge, however travelling time (to and from) will be charged at £15/half hour or part thereof.
Beyond Economic Repair/Parts No Longer Available
If, during a visit, it is discovered that a required part is no longer available, or that repair would cost more than you’d be prepared to pay, then only the call out fee is payable (plus travelling as indicated). Every effort will be made during your initial enquiry to determine whether or not a repair would be viable, and information such as the make and model number, and a brief description of the fault is most helpful in this respect.
Labour
£15 per half hour or part thereof, after the first hour.
Parts
Parts are not always required but we stock a competitively priced range to cover most common repairs.
Workshop Repairs
Although we can visit to repair portable appliances such as vacuum cleaners, microwaves etc, it is more cost effective for you if you bring them to us (please phone 01765 609186 to arrange). When you bring your appliance we can often give you a reasonably accurate estimate of cost to repair. If you decide not to go ahead, you can take it away and there’s nothing to pay. We normally have a repair ready withing five working days of your visit.
